I'm considering Consolidated FTTP as an alternative to Comcast (still have fiber drop to the house from Verizon days here in Nashua), and am curious if other Consolidated customers are able to avoid the $12/month "Network Care Plus Wireless Program" fee - which according to their Web site *appears* to be a mandatory fee for rental of their wireless router even if you provide your own equipment. The FCC has banned these types of fees (law was deferred during COVID, supposedly will go into effect on 12/20/2020), so I'm curious as to what other Consolidated customers using their own equipment are experiencing.
